As soon as we receive an order we will contact you to make sure you get the exact pickups your want.  Please allow about a week for your pickups to arrive. We will keep you informed by e-mail.

Bare Knuckle "'52 Stagger Pole" Precision Bass Pickups

Towards the end of 1952 the Tele bass pickup design was changed slightly to incorporate staggered magnetic poles. The '52 Stagger P adopts those same principals and partnered with a slightly lighter wind, produces an even brighter tone with tighter bass and more cut in the highs.

Bare Knuckle "'58 Split Coil" Precision Bass Pickups

As the Precision bass evolved the early Tele bass single coil was replaced with a split coil, humbucking design in 1957. The '58 Split Coil P is based on the slightly later split coil design with flat profile, hand bevelled, Alnico V magnets arranged across two coils with opposing wind direction and magnetic polarity to cancel out hum.

Bare Knuckle "Black Dog" Humbucker Pickups

The Black Dog humbucker is designed for players that need a vintage voiced pickup with extra weight in the mid range. By hand-winding with a modern polysol wire the Black Dog is able to match the asymmetrical coils of The Mule while gaining additional output and grind. Bare Knuckle "Blackguard" Tele Pickups - Flat '52

For a very short period in '52 both bridge and neck coils were wound with 42AWG plain enamel and the Flat 52 set replicates this with a brighter, tighter sounding bridge coil and an open, almost Strat-like neck tone.
