The Roland R-05 recorder provide's battery life of over 30 hours of continuous playback and over 16 hours of continuous recording.

The Roland R-05 includes a bunch of convenient practice tools and jamming tools: load WAV and MP3 files on the R-05 and loop a specific audio phrase, or change the playback speed without changing the pitch. Rehearsal Mode allows recording a band, even when you're playing at high volume levels. The Roland R-05 handheld recorder will auto-set the best recording level, and split your songs automatically. Record a studio-quality WAV file for archiving or putting on CD at the same time you record an MP3 that you can publish straight to your band's website.

To get started recording with your Roland R-05 handheld recorder, accessories are included right in the box: a windscreen for outdoor recordings, a tripod mount.
